SDFD Firefighters and ambulances are continuing to answer large numbers of emergency calls coming from the border for Illegal immigrants crossing the border.
Injuries are from falls from the 30-foot border wall. Exposure as temps are dropping into the low 50’s at night and other various illnesses.
This morning, most people appeared to be from Africa, South America, and Asia.
The City of San Diego had a crisis with the ambulance service and had to bring in a second company before this border problem. The situation at the border is not making it any easier, and the ambulances are being overwhelmed, as well as the local hospitals.
