Terrifying moment: pedestrian bridge collapses into river during crossing
In a harrowing incident captured by @carlosgeovaninaje on November 2, 2023, in Chimalhuacán, Mexico, a pedestrian bridge collapsed into a river while people were crossing, resulting in a heart-stopping scene. As @carlosgeovaninaje recounted, he and others were returning from leaving flowers at his grandmother's resting place when they heard a sudden crash just meters away. Initially, they believed it might have been a car accident, but upon investigation, it became clear that it was the pedestrian bridge that had failed, causing panic and distress among those on it.
