'Well this is going to go well...' Terrifying turbulence above Denver triggers emergency plane landing
Passengers on a flight above Denver, Colorado, experienced unexpected mid-air drama when their plane began to shake unusually. "We were in the sky and the plane started shaking way more than normal," recounted Shawn White, a passenger who captured the incident on his iPhone 13 Pro at around 10:30 am on Wednesday (November 8).
As tension mounted, the steward's voice crackled over the intercom, announcing an imminent landing. "I heard the pilot hit the fasten seatbelt sign repeatedly, then warn us it was going to get rough," White said, describing the moments before he started recording. The plane made an emergency descent, leaving passengers relieved but shaken.
"Can you send me a clean pair of shorts? Glad I’m on the ground mate!" said White.
