The IDF's 252nd Division, also known as the Sinai Division, has been conducting operations in the northern Gaza Strip since last Saturday.

This reserve division is comprised of four infantry brigades, including the Givati and Paratrooper reserve units, as well as a reserve armored brigade. Their mission includes securing the Beit Hanoun area, eliminating terrorists, destroying terror tunnels, and dismantling the military infrastructure of the Hamas terror organization.

The division has been successful in eliminating hundreds of terrorists, including senior Hamas operatives, and has been supported by artillery strikes from the 454th Artillery Brigade. The Commanding Officer of the 252nd Division, BG Moran Omer, emphasized the significance of this operation and the determination to restore peace and security to the civilian population.
