Early on the morning of November 8, at 5:33 AM, Crestline, California, firefighters rushed to tackle a substantial blaze at a commercial pallet yard on Holly St. & Wilson St. The fire, exacerbated by strong Santa Ana winds, rapidly consumed stacks of pallets and mulch piles. Initial response by Riverside Cal Fire was quickly transferred to San Bernardino County jurisdiction upon location assessment.

As the winds strengthened, firefighters worked relentlessly to contain the fire and prevent further spread, even managing to extinguish a palm tree that had ignited. The cause remains undetermined, prompting an investigation for potential arson. Firefighters now face a daunting task due to the wind and the sheer volume of combustible material.
