The gathering calling for the release of hostages and the end of hatred towards Jews was co-sponsored by SB Chabad, Congregation B’nai B’rith, the Jewish Federation of Greater Santa Barbara, Community Shul and the Anti-Defamation League. E- candles were lit for all 241 of those kidnapped and placed on the sand in front of photographs of each victim. The images formed a Star of David in the center.
