STORYLINE:
Uzbekistan has imported 22,490 electric vehicles (EV) in the first 10 months of 2023, six times more than in the same period last year, the country's State Customs Committee said Monday.
According to statistics, the value of EV imports this year reached 582.3 million U.S. dollars in Uzbekistan.
The Chinese mainland ranks first among its suppliers, accounting for 91.7 percent, or 20,640 EVs. Other suppliers include the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, the United States and Germany.
