A dog and a cow displayed an unlikely friendship with cosy morning cuddles in southwestern China.

The heartwarming moment was filmed in the city of Wenshan in Yunnan Province on November 4. A dog, comfortably perched atop the back of a cow, enjoying a moment of tranquil rest.

Mr Wang, the owner of these two unlikely companions, shares that this endearing spectacle is not a rare occurrence but a daily ritual. The dog's kennel is nestled right beside the cowshed, suggesting that the canine might find the cow's warm back a more appealing resting spot than its own abode.

These animals have grown up together since their infancy and have always had a very harmonious relationship.
