Mesmerising northern lights illuminated China's “arctic town” in a dazzling display.

Stunning video filmed in Mohe City in Heilongjiang Province on November 5 shows red and green auroras gracefully intertwining.

The celestial dance unfolded for more than seven hours, marking a historic moment as it was the first recorded instance of green auroras gracing the skies of China.

Mohe, situated at the northernmost tip of China's map, stands as the country's northernmost and highest latitude city. Renowned as one of the premier locations in the country for observing the northern lights.

据悉，漠河这次出现的极光持续了7个多小时，也是我国首次记录到绿色极光舞动。
漠河位于中国版图的最北部，是全国位置最北、纬度最高的城市，也是国内观测北极光的最佳地点之一。
