Medical teams inside Gaza's Al-Quds Hospital have been forced to carry out operations by torchlight due to power outages caused by lack of fuel to run electricity generators.

Video shot on Friday 10 November showed surgeons working with torches as Israeli troops closed in on several hospitals in the Strip.

Locals say roads leading to the hospital have been closed as a result of air strikes and other military activity.

Many patients are reported to be trapped inside the hospital, along with civilians sheltering there, as fighting rages nearby.

Israel accuses Hamas of using hospitals as bases for its operations, something the hospitals deny.

The medical teams inside Al-Quds Hospital operate with minimal resources due to power outages caused by fuel depletion.

These videos from one of the displaced individuals continue to sustain the hospital amidst ongoing communication and internet disruptions for the third consecutive day. The hospital remains isolated for the fifth day, as all roads leading to it are closed due to bombardment in the surrounding areas. There is a looming threat of the hospital ceasing complete operations in the next few hours due to fuel depletion.
