The Royal British Legion hosts the Remembrance service Saturday 11th November at the Centenary Woodland next to Skol Nansledan.
The 100 trees that make up the Centenary Woodland were planted by the Duchy of Cornwall in 2021 to commemorate the centenary of the Cornwall Royal British Legion. The woodland was officially opened by Colonel Edward Bolitho OBE, Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall, on November 11 that year.
In March 2022 the woodland was officially dedicated by His Majesty King Charles III, then known as The Duke of Cornwall, to The Queen’s Green Canopy project, as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
