The Israel Defense Forces' (IDF) 551st Brigade, composed of reservists specializing in commando and paratrooper operations, has undertaken a significant mission in the Beit Hanoun area. Over the past two weeks, the brigade has been actively engaged in demolishing Hamas terrorist infrastructure, eliminating terrorists, and securing the region.

As part of their operations, the forces targeted a kindergarten in Beit Hanoun, uncovering and neutralizing weapons, ammunition, and explosive devices. The brigade, working in coordination with air, engineering, and armored units, successfully eliminated terrorists, scanned for weapons, and targeted hundreds of locations.

Notably, the 551st Brigade exposed and destroyed numerous tunnel openings, securing military and civilian structures. These locations housed substantial quantities of weapons, along with maps and intelligence files belonging to the Hamas terrorist organization. The operations reflect the ongoing efforts to safeguard the region from security threats.
