Customers can enjoy a cup of coffee while mingling with adorable capybaras and fluffy Silkie chickens at this farm cafe in Thailand.

The Gaegabua Farm Cafe and Restaurant in Pathum Thani province just north of Bangkok was established out of the owner's love for animals and gardening.

There were only sheep and rabbits during the first two years, with the menagerie later expanding to include Silkies and the cafe's star attractions, the cuddly capybaras.

Staff said the cafe has become popular with families, as children liked to pet the docile animals, which have been allowed to slowly grow accustomed to human interaction before being exhibited at the shop.

Apart from the mini zoo, customers can also treat themselves to the variety of Thai and European dishes served at the restaurant.

Gaegabua Farm Cafe and Restaurant is open daily from 10 am to 8 pm, except on Fridays and public holidays.
