Five members, including three children, of the same family have died in a house fire in Hounslow, west London.

Footage shows a police cordon at the scene with a heavy firefighter presence.

Ten fire engines and 70 firefighters were called to the property in Channel Close on Sunday evening.

One person managed to get out of the house before emergency services arrived and was taken to hospital. Their injuries are believed to be not life-threatening.

A fire broke out in a mid-terrace house in Channel Close, Hounslow, West London on Sunday evening at about 10.30pm. The fire destroyed the ground floor and first floors of the house and damaged part of the roof. Five people on the first floor of the building were pronounced dead at the scene. One person managed to get out of the house before the emergency services arrived and was taken to hospital.
