A wild giant panda was spotted by a villager in southern China.

The video was filmed in Ya'an City in Sichuan Province on November 10. A panda lifted its head to survey the surroundings before leisurely strolling towards a bamboo forest.

This sighting reflects the increasing number of wild pandas in Baoxing County, a testament to the success of ecological conservation efforts in the region.

As the panda's population grows and habitat expands, they are venturing out of their secluded mountain forests more frequently, becoming a more common sight for locals.
