Visitors to Whitehall are taking photographs of the wreaths and poppies at the Cenotaph that has just opened to public after the National Service of Remembrance on Sunday, 12 November, commemorating the end of the First World War. The King led Remembrance Service to honour the fallen heroes and laid a wreath, followed by members of the Royal Family, senior politicians and dignitaries. The 2023 Remembrance theme is 'Service': physical, mental or emotional injury or trauma caused by pressure coming from serving.
