Mouse hits doorbell in comical 'ding-dong ditch' escapade at Chinese home
A mouse managing to vertically ascend a security door astonishingly triggered the doorbell at a resident's home in eastern China.
The hilarious CCTV footage was filmed in Rui'an City in Zhejiang Province on November 7. A mouse skillfully scaled a security door and inadvertently pressed the doorbell, which sent it scurrying away in fright.
Mrs Chen, the resident of the apartment, reported hearing the doorbell ring. Perplexed, she opened the door to find no one there.
Baffled by the mysterious ring, she turned to her security footage for answers. To her amazement, the culprit behind the phantom doorbell ring was none other than a small mouse.
