Traffic was halted for reportedly more than two hours after a landslide struck the Srinagar Jammu National Highway (NH 44) near tunnel-T2 in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir.

This incident took place near Kela Morh area of Ramban district on November 13.

Visuals showed a car in a wrecked condition after it was hit by the landslide. The back of the car was destroyed as a result of the landslide. Furthermore, stones kept rolling down the hilly area and onto the road which made it quite risky for the vehicles to travel in the path.

As a result of this, the traffic was stuck. According to a report, the vehicle did suffer a lot of damage but the passengers inside managed to escape unhurt. A note from the traffic police read, "Following a landslide triggering shooting stones in the Kelamorh area, vehicular traffic on both sides of the Srinagar Jammu National Highway was halted at around 1.35 pm."

Later, work to restore the path began.
