STORYLINE:
An e-commerce air cargo route linking Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province, and Chicago of the United States was opened Monday.
Operated by Air China Cargo Co., Ltd., the first plane has been loaded with 103 tonnes of products such as clothes, shoes, hats, and electronic accessories, with a total value of about 34 million yuan (about 4.67 million U.S. dollars).

"The newly-opened cross-border e-commerce cargo route from Shenyang to Chicago is the first air cargo route from Liaoning Province to the central and eastern regions of the United States. It plans to operate three flights per week, and will provide nearly 1,200 tonnes of transport capacity for exports to the central and eastern United States every month, delivering more than 700,000 cross-border e-commerce packages."
