In a strategic move, forces from the 7th Brigade and Golani Brigade executed operations in Sheikh Ijlin and Rimal, gaining control over pivotal Hamas command centers. The 7th Brigade successfully secured the Hamas legislature, government building, police headquarters, and an engineering faculty used for weapons production in Gizat compound. This compound also housed training facilities, operational rooms, and detention facilities.

Simultaneously, Golani Brigade forces secured the Governor's Residence, revealing it as a facility utilized by Hamas for military and intelligence purposes. This building served as the hub for military and police offices, military intelligence headquarters, and training outposts. Notably, some of these outposts were identified as sites for training aimed at potential invasions into Israel.

The operations mark a significant advancement in the IDF's efforts to neutralize Hamas' military infrastructure and maintain security in the region.
