Asaree Adam, 12, had been playing for two hours with his pals before he finally made it to first place in the video game OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast in Pathum Thani, Thailand, on November 4.
CCTV footage shows Asaree becoming tense as he was about to reach the finish line in the top spot before he actually won.
He sprung up from the internet cafe's chair and had a glorious moment jumping for joy around the shop while his friends cheered for him.
