On November 7, 2023, at Changchun Guanghua University, 148 students gathered to paint on a snow-covered basketball court to showcase their artistic talents.

With the mascots of the 9th Asian Games in Hangzhou as the protagonists, the students from 3 different grades spent 10 hours transforming the playground into a 1,460 square meters of snow painting.

Creating the snow painting after the first snow arrives in Changchun is a tradition of Guanghua University, and the work in the video is the sixth masterpiece in this activity.

According to Zhang Xu, the Deputy Secretary of the Party General Branch of the School of Art and Design, there are two main reasons for choosing the Asian Games as the theme.

On the one hand, the students and staff are proud of Wang Shijie, a graduate of the class of 2022 of the college, who participated in the design of the parade float at the closing ceremony. On the other, they think it is a good way to show the vigorous vitality of the university students.

The students made three plans and they finally chose the three mascots, Chenchen, Zongzong, Lianlian, and the float elements of the Asian Games as the theme.
