This toddler could not control his laughter at his dad's hilarious bedtime act where he pretends to blow out the lights.

Footage from October 23 filmed at the family's home in Mapleton, Utah, shows Jared standing in the doorway letting out a large exhale, pretending he has blown out the bedroom's lights.

Jared's son Cliff is seen giggling uncontrollably whilst sitting up in bed next to his mother, Melissa, who was filming.

The dad told Newsflare: "This is a fun bedtime activity that we do with our young children at night. My child’s laugh in this specific video is a genuine gut laugh. You can also hear his 3-year-old brother and mum laughing in the video.

"It was a priceless moment to hear my child laugh like this. Our children always look forward to laying down for bed because of this activity. And I swear they sleep better because of it (must calm their mind or something).

"Here’s how we play the game with the kids:

"1. Tell the kids they need to blow air in order to turn off the light. Turn the light off and start walking out of the room.

"2. As you’re walking out, turn the light back on and act surprised that the light didn’t stay off (the kids start laughing so hard).

"3. Tell the kids that they have to blow the air harder in order for the light to stay off.

"Repeat two to three times. It’s such a great laugh."
