As Iceland and the world await possible volcanic activity near the town of Grindavik, video shows one effect of the constant quakes -- big holes in the town's roads.

Grindavík has become the epicentre of seismic unrest in Iceland, with around 900 earthquakes detected in the region since midnight on November 12.

According to the Icelandic Met Office, seismic activity stabilised on November 11. But the aftermath has left a trail of destruction.

A video captured by @hlemmavideo reveals the unsettling reality on the ground, and the roads.
