A fire erupted in an apartment on the top floor of a building in Trieste shortly after 3:30 AM on the 15th of November, prompting a swift response from the fire brigade. Two teams, utilizing a ladder truck and the condominium stairs, extinguished the flames. Fortunately, no individuals were found trapped inside. However, firefighters rescued a cat from the affected residence, ensuring its safety.

Three residents, two women, and a man, who had independently evacuated the building, were treated by healthcare personnel for smoke inhalation and transported to the hospital for necessary checks. As a precautionary measure, all occupants in the building were evacuated during firefighting and safety procedures.

After extinguishing the fire, the firefighters, in the process of determining the cause, secured the apartment and the entire building. Subsequent checks confirmed the absence of combustion gas residues, allowing evacuated residents to return home once the safety measures were completed. Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing.
