A woman miraculously avoided injuries as slabs of snow plunged from a rooftop and struck her in northern China.

The CCTV footage was filmed in Shuangyashan City in Heilongjiang Province on November 15.

Fortunately, the woman was not injured. She fell to her knees in a snowdrift at the roadside but managed to get up and leave on her own.

On that day, it was reported that snow fell from the rooftop about three times. Apart from the incident with the woman, approximately five or six cars parked along the roadside were also hit by falling snow, with varying degrees of damage. The most severely affected vehicles suffered smashed roofs and windshields.

A representative from the Jixian County Emergency Management Bureau stated that they had not received reports of any injuries caused by falling rooftop snow.

However, the bureau, along with other departments, has been actively clearing the snow. By now, most roads in the area have been cleared.

据周边店铺商家介绍，万幸的是大妈没受伤，只是跪倒在路旁的雪堆中，事后自己起身离开。当天楼顶积雪掉落了三次左右，除了砸了这位大妈，还有五六辆停放在路边的车辆也被砸到，车辆损伤情况不同，严重的车顶、挡风玻璃都砸坏了。
集贤县应急管理局一名工作人员表示，并未接到有关屋顶积雪砸伤行人事故的反映，但应急管理局等部门一直在加紧进行积雪的清理，目前各道路已基本清理完毕。
集贤县宣传部于11月16日下午发布了“开展对弃管小区屋顶存在坠冰落雪安全隐患进行排查清理”的通知，通知中表示强降雪过后，由于昼夜温差变化，建筑物房顶积雪融化形成悬冰，易出现高空坠雪坠冰等情况，给群众生命健康和财产安全带来潜在隐患。为有效防范积雪、悬冰坠落事故，保障居民人身安全，集贤县住建局、县应急管理局、县社区指导中心开展对县内弃管小区屋顶存在坠冰落雪安全隐患进行排查清理工作。同时提示居民注意出行安全，远离危险路段。
