Firefighters saved a woman trapped on a cracked frozen river in northern China after an accidental fall.

The heroic video was filmed in Harbin City in Heilongjiang Province on November 15.

Within 15 minutes, the rescue team arrived at the scene, where they found the woman desperately struggling to stay afloat, her situation growing increasingly perilous.

The rescue team deployed an ice rescue raft and two fully-equipped rescuers ventured onto the ice to reach the stranded woman.

With safety ropes securely fastened around them, the rescuers, aided by several others on the shore pulling the ropes for added security, paddled the inflatable raft towards the woman.

Finally, they successfully pulled the woman onto the raft, bringing her back to safety on the shore.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
