STORYLINE:
Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met with Qatar's Minister of State for International Cooperation Lolwah Al Khater in Cairo on Sunday.
The two ministers discussed detailed ways to coordinate the joint efforts to enhance the transport of humanitarian and relief aid to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Shoukry stressed that the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip requires safe and sustainable entry of aid.
They also exchanged views on actions and communications undertaken by Egypt and Qatar to help stop the war in Gaza, and stressed the inevitability of achieving an immediate and unconditional ceasefire.
They also urged the international parties to assume their responsibilities to stop Israeli violations against civilian people and facilities.
For her part, the Qatari minister also voiced her rejection of the displacement of the Palestinians inside or outside the Gaza Strip.
