Jamaica: Tropical Disturbance Brings Heavy Rain, Causing Major Flooding 2
A tropical disturbance moved across the western Caribbean on Friday, November 17, causing flooding and landslides, knocking down trees and leaving thousands without power in Jamaica.
The Meteorological Service issued a Flash Flooding warning. At least 24 people were rescued from floodwaters in the southeastern region, the Jamaican Defense Force said.
