The floor collapsed in a newly-opened supermarket, injuring 2 in northern China.

Terrifying CCTV footage filmed in the city of Jiyuan City in Henan Province on November 19 shows the ground of a supermarket suddenly collapsing, creating a massive pit. Unsuspecting customers, along with broken tiles, shelves, and merchandise, were seen plummeting into it.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing both children and adults fall into the pit. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to manage the situation.

The mall, which had just celebrated its grand opening on November 18, was a large budget department store, advertising everything starting from two yuan (£0.22).

Two individuals sustained minor injuries and were promptly taken for medical treatment. Investigations and handling of the incident are currently underway.

20日，济水街道办事处通报：11月19日16时30分，盛博惠商场东侧一门店（2元便利店）内发生局部地面坍塌，随即对相关人员进行疏散。现场致两人轻微伤，已第一时间送医治疗。目前，相关调查处置工作正在进行中。
