This is the moment kind beachgoers rescued dolphins stranded in shallow waters in Thailand.

Phanapat Srisanga, a long-tail boat operator, and his two friends were taking a stroll along the shore in Ao Nang, Krabi province when he noticed around four dolphins stranded in the shallows at 6 am on November 19.

Footage shows the marine creatures appearing to swim in circles as they struggled to move toward deeper water. The kind men gave the cetaceans a gentle nudge and guided them toward the open sea.

Phanapat said: 'We spent around five minutes pushing them back toward the sea. The tide receded, which probably caused them to become stranded.'
