This is the hilarious moment a groom's best friend dressed up as his bride and walked down the aisle to pull off the ultimate wedding wows prank.

Phone footage from the big day shows the groom waiting patiently at the top of the aisle as the lavish service is about to begin in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China.

But instead of his bride, his best friend can be seen emerging from the back of the room wearing a veil and white dress padded out with steamed buns. As he silently begged the guests to keep quiet, he crept down the aisle and stopped behind the groom as the tongue-in-cheek MC announced: 'Today's bride looks so beautiful.'

But as the groom turned round to greet his blushing bride, his pal leapt into his arms and planted a kiss on his cheek.

Then as his friend picked up his dress and ran back down the aisle, the astonished groom collapsed in laughter.


In an earlier clip, the groom's pal is seen getting dressed for his appearance and pulling down his wedding gown to show a pair of bao buns adapted as false boobs.
