Swiss economic growth to be well below average in 2023 and 2024 in Switzerland

Following a robust first quarter, the Confederation's Expert Group for Economic Forecasts has slightly revised upwards its forecast for adjusted GDP growth in 2023 (1.3%, June forecast: 1.1%). Next year, however, growth is likely to be less sustained than forecast (1.2%, June forecast: 1.5%). As a result, the Swiss economy is likely to experience significantly below-average growth this year and next.
