A mesmerising massive ice disc was found spinning on a river in northern China.

The stunning video was filmed in Hulunbuir City in Inner Mongolia on November 16.

An ice disc, spanning an impressive 20 metres in diameter, gracefully rotated counterclockwise on the Chuoer River.

Experts say these rare and mesmerizing ice discs typically emerge at the outer bends of rivers. The phenomenon is a result of ice being sheared off by the river's swift current. Over time, as the ice rubs against its surroundings, it is sculpted into a flawlessly circular shape, creating a spectacle that seems almost otherworldly.
