In a groundbreaking operation on the outskirts of Jabalya, the 401st Brigade combat team, led by Colonel Binyamin Aharon, has exposed a labyrinthine network of terror tunnels and a concealed weapons cache dangerously close to a children's hospital. The four tunnel shafts, connected to the Hamas terrorist organization and previously used for heavy mortar fire towards Israel, were discovered in proximity to the medical facility.

The tunnels, intricately linked to the electrical network, converged at a central shaft located in a building associated with a senior Hamas operative. Simultaneously, a disturbing quantity of weapons was found concealed in bedrooms and under children's beds in a structure connected to another senior Hamas figure. Operational plans and numerous weapons were seized, marking a significant victory for the 401st Brigade.

Colonel Binyamin Aharon emphasized the operation's success, stating, "We reached the 'heart' of the Hamas infrastructure, exposing the area used for years to launch rockets into the depths of Israel, dangerously close to the children's hospital."
