A woman's jacket was accidentally snagged as a barrier gate lifted in eastern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Kunshan in Jiangsu Province on November 21, shows a barrier gate lifting up and catching a woman's jacket in the process when she was passing through.

The woman then quickly grabbed onto the fabric, pulling it back with a bewildered expression on her face.

A motorist Mr Yang explained that the community had a designated pedestrian entrance, and the woman seemed to have taken a shortcut through the vehicle entrance gate.

11月21日，江苏昆山，杨先生开车回家进入小区时，一名女子刚好从道闸处通过，道闸识别到杨先生的车辆后，升降杆抬起，恰好把女子的外套扯掉，女子赶紧抓住衣角拽回，一脸茫然。杨先生介绍，小区本来有专供行人出入的门，女子应该是为了抄近道，才从机动车辆道闸通过，当时也觉得挺好笑的。
