Riots erupted in Dublin on Thursday 23 November, after four people, a woman in her 30s and three young children, were injured in a knife attack outside a primary school.

In the hours after the attack, protesters gathered near the scene of the incident and began attacking police officers, setting fire to vehicles and a tram.

Gardaí, the national police and security service, said the unrest was driven by a "lunatic, hooligan faction driven by a far-right ideology."

As well as torched vehicles and clashes with police, nearby shops were looted during the unrest.

The video was filmed on D’Olier Street, looking toward O’Connell Bridge, at around 8pm.
