STORYLINE:

STANDUP 1 (English): SANAA KAMAL, Xinhua reporter, Gaza Strip
"After long weeks of bloody conflict between Hamas and the Israeli army in the coastal enclave, the Palestinians here finally have enrolled in a humanitarian ceasefire in the territory that allowed them to receive dozens of trucks loaded with power, cooking gas, food as well as medical equipment to enter the coastal enclave for the first time since the war broke out on Oct. 7.
In Rafah city in the southern part of the coastal enclave, dozens of thousands rushed to local streets and local markets. In addition, some of them rushed to the eastern part where they lived to inspect the devastation that were resulted by the Israeli ongoing airstrikes. Palestinians called on the international community, as well as the Arab countries to make their pressure on Israel to stop its war and to not to retain the conflict after the 4 days of ceasefire."

STANDUP 2 (English): WANG ZHUOLUN, Xinhua correspondent, Jerusalem
"Here I'm standing in Sderot, the closest Israeli city to the Gaza border, hundreds of meters away from me is Gaza. As the four-day ceasefire in Gaza took effect on Friday at 7 o'clock in the morning local time, the situation in the Gaza border is basically stable. However, Israel stressed that once the truce ended, its army would continue its fighting until all the goals are achieved, including eliminating Hamas and returning all the hostages back to Israel."

STANDUP 3 (English): ANCHO GOSH, Xinhua reporter, northern Israel
"We are in northern Israel, close to the Lebanese border. Behind me I can see the village of Marun el Ras of southern Lebanon.
From this morning to now, the exchange of fire on the Israeli-Lebanese border has ceased, the air defense siren has not been heard, and Israel has stopped its shelling towards Lebanon.
Hezbollah announced on Wednesday that it will participate in the four-day truce, even though it was not part of the negotiations between Israel and Hamas."
