A second cyclone hit the Balkan Peninsula in a week. Storm "Marco" caused the death of one person in Bulgaria. A state of emergency was again declared in some parts of the country. Roads in the country were closed to traffic due to heavy snowfall. Wind values of over 100 km per hour were reported in some parts of the country. A week earlier, the Balkan country was hit by Cyclone Frederik, which claimed two lives. The severe weather conditions caused damage and casualties in the other countries of the Balkans - Greece, Turkey, Romania.
