Playful Exchange Between Daoist and Curious Stray Cat in Southwest China
On November 23, 2023, in Chengdu, Sichuan, a middle-aged man dressed as a Daoist sat on an upper floor and a greedy cat stared at the food in his bowl.
This little stray calico cat approached from the window with curious eyes. After noticing the kitten's coming close, the Daoist unexpectedly picked up a 100 RMB note on the table and handed it to the kitten, telling it, "Take it and get yourself whatever you'd like," as if treating the kitty like a little friend.
Facing the unfamiliar gift, the kitty hesitantly lifts her paw and steps back, declining his kindness.
