A group of Just Stop Oil activists were swiftly arrested by officers during a slow march protest in London on November 27.

The march, which started at Trafalgar Square, ended at Whitehall where police officers swooped in as activists blocked a road opposite the Palace of Westminster.

The activists called for a complete ban on new fossil fuel projects.

A group of Just Stop Oil activists were arrested in London (yet again) today, Monday 27 November for staging a protest against new oil, gas, and coal projects. The activists marched from Trafalgar Square to Whitehall, where they then blocked the road opposite the Palace of Westminster, and were immediately met by police officers who arrested them all.

The protesters were demanding that the government take immediate action to address the climate crisis. They called for a complete ban on new fossil fuel projects.

The protest is part of a larger campaign by Just Stop Oil to pressure the government to do more to protect the environment. The group has been staging protests across the UK in recent months
