The Shaldag Special Forces Unit, engaged in ground operations in the Gaza Strip, has revealed its intensive efforts against the Hamas. Operating in coordination with various IDF units, Shaldag soldiers discovered weapons and infrastructure at Shifa Hospital. The findings include weapons, ammunition, grenades, military equipment concealed in medical containers, and anti-tank explosives.

Utilizing advanced technologies, the unit located a tunnel shaft during a complex operation at Shifa Hospital, exposing the existence of terror tunnels beneath the medical facility. The Shaldag Unit has been actively involved in both Israel and Gaza since the onset of the conflict, playing a crucial role in countering Hamas.

On October 7th, during Hamas' invasion in southern Israel, Shaldag soldiers were deployed to Kibbutz Be’eri. Engaging in intense combat, they neutralized members of Hamas, rescued residents, and continued operations in various locations, eliminating dozens of terrorists and safeguarding civilians.
