On November 23, a video captured in Guiping, Guangxi Province documented a delightful scene of a little black dog enjoying an unusual treat.

The dog, which appears to be a Chinese rural dog, skillfully chews on a sugar cane pole held by the filmer. To the shock of netizens, the dog seems very familiar with eating this fruit and even knows to spit out the chewed bagasse.

As a crop that grows mainly in the south, sugarcane is often used to make cane sugar. When consumed as a fruit, people usually spit out the bagasse after chewing it and consume only its sweet juice. Since Guangxi is the province with the largest sugarcane production in China, the filmer humorously stated that even dogs here know how to eat sugarcane.
