A kangaroo's hilarious tug-of-war with a keeper over food at a wild animal park delighted onlookers in eastern China.

The amusing video was filmed in the city of Jinan in Shandong Province on November 25.

A kangaroo, standing on its hind legs behind a wooden fence, extended its paws to beseech its caregiver for a morsel of food. The keeper, whose stature matched that of the kangaroo, indulged the creature with a small tidbit from her hand.

However, the tenacious kangaroo persisted, gently tugging at the keeper's sleeve.

During an interview, the filmer, who also serves as the kangaroo's keeper, shared that they typically provide the kangaroo with three daily meals. Yet, the keen-sensed kangaroo detected the tantalizing aroma of its forthcoming meal preparation.

As the keeper humorously remarked, echoing sentiments from netizens, "The kangaroo wasn't hungry; it just had an insatiable craving."

On November 25, a delightful video was captured in Jinan Wild Animal World, Shandong Province, showcased a kangaroo's obsession with food.

In the video, the kangaroo was seen standing on its two hind legs behind a wooden fence, with its paws outstretched pulling at its keeper for the food in her hand.

The keeper, who was about the same height as the kangaroo, kindly fed it a little of the food in her hand, but the persistent kangaroo continued to tug at the keeper's sleeve with its paw, like a small child begging for favoritism.

In a media interview, the filmer, who is also the keeper of this kangaroo, said that they usually feed the kangaroo three times a day, but the extra sharp kangaroo smelled the scent when the food was being prepared for them. “Just as the netizens said,” the keeper humorously quipped, ” the kangaroo wasn't hungry, it just had a boring mouth!”
