STORYLINE:
A 4,000-tonne offshore booster station has recently been successfully lifted and installed at an offshore wind farm in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
The four-story-station is 45 meters long, 44 meters wide, and 20 meters high.
With a maximum capacity of 780,000 kilowatts, it can generate 16.8 million kilowatt-hours of electricity a day, which can meet the needs of 2.8 million households.
