newest STARLINK satellite train G6-30 glimpsed in swiss skies just half a day after launch.
Starlink satellite group G6-30 was launched from Florida on 28 november 2023 at 04:20 UTC ( which was local time 11.20 PM 27th november , shortly before midnight ).
half a day later the group of 23 Starlink satellites were flying in the evening over southern Europe.
They can be seen here appearing behind clouds and then rapidly dimming and disappearing as they plunge inside Earth's shadow.
Local time in Switzerland was 18h41 , looking to the southwest.
The sky had been very cloudy all day in central Valais in the swiss Alps but in the evening the clouds started to lift just in time to briefly see the satellite train.
