An installation representing the 240 hostages taken by Hamas, some of whom have been released, was set up in Bondi Beach, Sydney, on November 30.

Each figure represents a hostage and is labelled with their names.

The installation was inspired by the Abducted Hearts Exhibition created by Maya Paz Schcolnik with the participation of the Hostage and Missing Families Forum and the Municipality of Ness Ziona.

An installation representing the 240 hostages taken by Hamas was on display today near to Bondi Park Playground between 4pm-5.30pm. People were invited to look around and walk between the figures.
Each figure represents a hostage; each has a name, an age; each one of them is a whole world. They all have families, a life story, a past, a present, and hopefully a future.
The “Bring Me Home Now” installation represents these 240 hostages. The hostages are depicted wearing “Bring Me Home Now” T-shirts reflecting the “Bring Them Home Now” T-shirts many Jews, Israelis, and allies have been wearing for weeks, in a desperate call for the safe return of all of them now. The number of days in captivity is marked on their T-shirts as a reminder of their days imprisoned in underground tunnels. Each person is named in the installation, with a few exceptions where the name has been withheld.
