This footage was filmed and produced 24 November 2023.

In the early hours of November 24, 2023, Officer Miller initiated a traffic stop on a northbound 4-door passenger car in the 900 Blk of Green Ave, clocking it at a high speed. The situation escalated when the driver attempted to evade Officer Miller, speeding eastbound on W. Huron near 2nd Street. Losing control, the vehicle crashed into utility poles and came to a rest upside down east of S. Canadian on a residential property.

A juvenile male, identified as a 16-year-old Grady County resident, fled the scene, leaving his younger brother inside the stolen vehicle. Deputy Baxter/MCSO later apprehended the juvenile in the 300 Blk of Apache. The stolen vehicle charges include possession, felony eluding, and leaving the scene of an accident causing injury. The juvenile was transported to a juvenile holding facility, and the younger male was released to his parent after EMS evaluation.

Appreciation is extended to Purcell 911 Communications, City of Purcell Public Works, and the McClain County Sheriffs for their assistance in managing the incident. Note that these are charges, not convictions.
