A 63-year-old grandmother has revealed she is often mistaken for her daughter’s twin sister – with people unable to even tell the two apart.

Dawn Hubsher and her 33-year-old daughter Cher have gone viral thanks to their extreme likeness – with both sporting long dark hair, similar features and youthful visages.

The mother-daughter duo, who previously featured on TLC show ‘sMothered’, have shared videos comparing their appearances on TikTok, which have garnered millions of views and left viewers stunned.

“People often mention that they can’t tell us apart,” Dawn, who lives in Florida, US, told NeedToKnow.co.uk.

“We receive a lot of comments from people saying that we look more like twins than mother and daughter.

“They always think we are sisters and are surprised that a mother and daughter can look so alike despite being 30 years apart.”

Their resemblance became clear as Cher got older – and has even taken the duo themselves by surprise at times.

Dawn, who is a grandmother to Cher’s daughter, added: “As Cher got older, we started to notice how much we resemble each other.

“Although we don’t always see it ourselves, everyone else seems to, so we just have fun with it.

“Sometimes, when we see a photo of ourselves together, we’re like ‘wow’.

“And there are occasions when Dawn will see a photo of Cher and initially think it’s herself, and vice versa.”

In one TikTok, which racked up 16 million views and three million likes, Dawn calls herself “the mom who cloned her daughter”, before Cher appears sporting the same pink top and jeans as her mother.

In another post, they revealed their most commonly asked questions they receive in public – which include “are you sisters?”, “what’s the age gap?”, and “why do you look so familiar?”.

One person commented: “Are they really mother n daughter they look more like twins.” [sic]

“This both are twins. No one can convince me otherwise,” said another follower.

Someone else added: “Wow…yup twins.”

“So cute…you look like identical twins,” one user commented.

Another person called their likeness “absolutely crazy”.

“Oh god I almost couldn’t tell the difference,” another viewer agreed.

Someone else added: “Woah…it honestly took me a min to realise it was 2 different ppl.” [sic]
