Chinese girls land on car roof after scooter collision
Two girls landed on a car’s roof after a scooter collision in southern China.
The CCTV footage was filmed in Chenzhou City in Hunan Province on October 26.
A scooter with two students on it ran a red light at an intersection and collided with an oncoming car. Two students were thrown out and landed on the roof of the vehicle.
Both the students nonchalantly leaped off the car a moment later, taking a few steps to ensure they were unharmed. Eager to check on the condition of their scooter, they were joined by the concerned car driver.
Fortunately, after a medical examination, one student named Xiao only suffered minor injuries.
Upon investigation by the traffic police, it was determined that a student. named Li's reckless act of running the red light on the scooter was the sole cause of the accident.
Additionally, since Li was under 16 years old, violating regulations by riding the scooter, not wearing a helmet, and other traffic safety violations, she faced a combined fine of 220 yuan (£24.5).
